Deborah Conway: Summertown House Party

The old Tupperware party strikes again but this time it's a
Summertown party. If you buy a minimum of 25 copies of Summertown from us
we will come to your house to deliver them, sign them AND play a 20 minute, un-amplified set for you and your office mates, your mother's club, your neighbours or your ex-boyfriends.
We recomend a maximum of between 50 and 60 people.

If you buy 50 copies you get four Only The Bones t-shirts as well as the performance!

This is how it works, let us know the time & date you'd prefer via email (Use the "Contact" link on the left). Once we've worked out what suits you, we'll send you an invoice. To book the summerware party officially, just pay for the 25 CD's at $30 each.

We will be taking a break over the holiday period but due to popular demand we'll start up the bookings again in Feruary.

cheers
dc

Hi Deborah & Willy
We would love for you to come and play at our house. My wife and I have 3 kids, two of which have a severe life threatening physical disabilty and we are trying to raise some money to purchase 2 purpose built manual wheelchairs for them. These chairs retail for around $3000 each and we cannot get any government funding. We would be very interested to talk to you guys and see what we could do, I have no doubt that we could get in excess of 50-60 people in attendance....how to structure the night so it is both profitable for YOU and us is the key. Do you think we could do something?
Look forward to hearing from you.
regards
Rick & Janine

Dear Deborah,

We are organising a radical mothers' day event to celebrate women and motherhood in Sydney this May 2005, and was wandering whether we can book you to perform 2-3 songs.

Our charter for mothering is based on www.moi.org.au

Awaits your reply,
Cindy

Hi I am a member of the ABA (Nursing Mothers) group in Heidelberg we need to do some fundraising and were wondering if you'd be prepared to do a Summertime gig for us. I am sure we could sell the 25 CDs We are thinking about doing an evening or late arvo thing with speaker drinks nibbles and YOU. We'd charge people to come and the funds would go to paying for people from our group to go the the ABA training event.I'm not sure if this is the right place for this request, but the contact spot on left is not coming up on my screen. Look forward to hearing from you

Yaay!! Just had a Summerware party at our place on Sunday, and it was great! If you get the chance to do it, don't hesitate - it's an unforgettable experience to have Deborah and Willy playing in your own lounge room, and I know everyone that came to our place had a blast!

Hey dc,

I have loved your music since my interest in live aussie talent blossomed in my early twenties. I have seen you several times but my fav performace was seeing you at a little North Fremantle pub called Mojo's when you where promoting My Third Husband.

My ears pricked up when you announced your distribution plan for Summertown on the Sunday program a few weeks ago. Let me know if this "musicware" party plan is available to your Perth fans and I will get cracking to host a dc/wz party at my place.

cheers, regi

Hi Deborah & Willy
Just a note to tell you of what high regard I have of your musical talents. I have had the pleasure of seeing you perform live several times, and your shows are better than any international acts (including Billy Joel). You sound as good live as any recording, and looking forward to hearing you again at A Day On The Green at our local winery in January, Thanks for the music.....

I could get 120. You name the date. if not ill just buy an album for myself. I think this is THE BEST idea. Good on you.

HI Deb,
loved your music from the days of "Not Drowning Waving". We would love you to play at our childcare centre's xmas party for the children on Friday 17th December in Sydney. We will committ to buying 50 plus CD"s. But with over 100 adults attending you should expect to sell alot more than 50.
Hope you can come,Diana

Hi Deborah

I saw you on the Sunday program. The house parties are a fantastic idea! I'm in Brisbane and would really love to have one. I am pretty sure that I could get a group of 25+ of my work mates and friends together. I have a large open plan newly renovated house and could easily accomodate this number plus more depending upon interest.

Would it be a possibility that you could do this given that I'm in Brisbane? If it is an option I will spread the word to gauge interest.

Many thanks

Katy

I can sell 25 + more copies of your CD.

Would you play at my wedding in March next year instead of my lounge room ? My wedding is at the St Kilda Town Hall. I think you would sound great in that room.

Pllllleeeaaaaassssssssseeeee !

Hello! I saw the segment on Sunday this morning also and like a few others here would love to organise a Summerware party before it is too late! I am in Hobart so I know this is a big ask, but I am sure I can get at least 50 takers!!!!

Please!

Kindest Regards,
Sue
