Lisa,

I guess you are asking about the Half Man Half Woman parties. The basic deal is that if you purchase thirty or more copies of the album in one hit, they will come and play for twenty minutes at your home or work. The performance is when they are in your part of the world, so if you are outside Melbourne you would generally arrange this for when they are in your town.

I am not sure how this works.. can I read this article. I just saw Deborah play at a friends house in PErth on the weekend. Just wanted to do some reading about Deborahs come back. By the way, a really lovely afternoon and a really lovely concept to get music into the back yard. Lovely memories every time I play the CD.. Thank you!

Hi there.

Sorry to pester you guys about old alums, but was hoping you might be able to point me in the right direction as where I can purchase Domestic Harmony on CD, here in Melbourne.

This was gem of a record. A solid album full of great tunes and maybe the best example of that post-punk sound in Australia. In Brisbane, Triple-zed gave this lots of airplay, and I remeber well being knocked out by a live show at the UQ Refect’ in the mid ’80s. It was one of rare ‘wow’ moments of live performance.

My intial investigations have been fruitless, so any info would be appreciated.

The Patsy Cline shiow was the only live show my wife has been able to get me to, in 40 years.

DC is the best artist Australia has produced. Adultery must be one of the best songs in Australian music history.

The new album is sensational. I particularly love ‘Lying next to you’.
My only concern is that potential audiences won’t hear it because physical copies are near impossible to come by, except through the web-site. Redeye Records appears to be the only store stocking it in Sydney. Are you guys aware of this?

Deborah Conway…the most under rated singer/songwriter I can think of besides Johnny Deisel (as he was known).
In an age of pop princess’s and pathetic sexual drivel by scantily clad 12 year olds; Conway…you are a genius.
I’m writing a script btw…about a womans coming of age and “String Of Pearls” hums as the credits roll…will ring you late next year.
