To everybody asking about our Brunswick Ballroom performance scheduled for November 7, it was cancelled by the venue a couple of months ago due to intimidation from a group of 70 bullies who turned up on a night we weren’t playing, banging pots & pans, wearing balaclavas, entering the front bar to film staff and declaring that if our show went ahead there would be 300 people protesting the gig. We were told by the venue that their staff were too intimidated to work on our show.
Classic standover tactics,“nice little venue you got there, shame if something should happen to it”.
